2015 A NEW SPRING DAWNS AND FIRST GARDEN BUILT

The clients originally 'Brief' was for me to give the garden a structure, to include a water feature close to the house, vegetable growing area, white stemmed Birches, a new deck to the new shed, a 'useable lawn'. in short the client wanted the WOW FACTOR. phase 1 completed today, further planting to be completed, path surface and Deck to be completed at a later date.Design and plant selection by me Kevin Barnett. 2nd year GOLD at New Forest and Hampshire Show 2014

This years New Forest and Hampshire show sees my return with a more conventional cottage garden, with a contemporary twist.

The Garden recieved a GOLD medal from the judges.

Gone are last years Western Red Cedar slatted screens and Gabion wall.

In comes a more open vista with Trellis panel screens and stainless steel wire rope division.

Planting is of late summer perennial, with the full stops and commas's provided by 3 Pittosporum tobira Nana's' and one of my favourite small trees a Betula utilis Jaquemontii.

The Western Red Cedar deck was recycled from last year as was the path surface of 'Golden Quartzite aggregate' gravel. which means that next year will mean a completely new mix of materials.
