So, my friend and fellow design student Dan Pearce has asked me to be his assistant in a 'Build a Garden in 2 hours' competition, at the National Garden Show, held at the Bath and West show ground on Friday 2nd September 2011.
The competition is between two pairs of contestants
The format is that on the thursday(1st) we have to attend the Cheddar Garden Centre where we have to select £1000 worth of plants and 3 non plant accessories with which we then have to create a garden at the show the following day. The gardens dimensions are 3x3m and are surrounded by sleepers. There is no digging and the whole enterprise relys or our 'ARTISTIC' placement of the plants and the accessories !to create a garden that is then judged by official Horticultural judges and will have a running commentary?
